Times of the HG Wells Cast
Original Characters and Actors
All characters are "played" by various actors and actresses I have chosen (and I am open to suggestions). If you imagine someone else, then have at it! All aliens and alien hybrids are humanoid and are close in size to our own unless stated otherwise.
Lead Original Characters
Characters can appear or be referenced in more than one series.
HD (Henry Desmond) Avery IV (Scott Bairstow) - as a hipster with a hidden confidence issue, HD embodies every young man who hopes against all hope that no one will peek behind the curtain. Daniel Beauchaine (Jason Alexander) - Dan was originally meant to be less angsty, but the character just ended up going that way. Sheilagh Bernstein (Leelee Sobieski) - this is a character that is, in part, a surrogate for me. Carmen Calavicci (Annabella Sciorra) - I see Carmen as almost cigar-chomping. Marisol Castillo (Vanessa Marcil) - the femme fatale! Levi Cavendish (Edward Norton) - Levi is troubled in a lot of ways. Milena Chelenska (Michaela Dolinova) - Milena is damaged by her history. Otra D'Angelo (Keira Knightley); she's a human-Witannen hybrid. This character, despite being only half-human, is perhaps the best-adjusted of all of the main characters. Eleanor Daniels (Cate Blanchett) - she is a museum docent, and brings in another artistic and historical element to the stories. Thomas Grant (Josh Duhamel) - Tom is meant to be the solid guy. Deirdre Katzman (Nakagoshi Noriko) - Deirdre is bubbly and has a wry sense of humor. She's the one who names the time ships. Kevin O'Connor (John Goodman); he's a human-Gorn hybrid. This character is based on a friend with the exact same name. Polly Porter (Shirley MacLaine) - Polly is meant to be a no-nonsense advice-giver, likely to tell you to pull yourself up by your own bootstraps. Crystal Sherwood (Marnette Patterson) - Crystal is meant to be a little thing, somewhat intimidated by all the intelligence in the room. Boris Yarin (Henry Rollins); he's a human-Klingon-Xindi sloth hybrid. Boris is unhappy in his life, and seeks excitement in the wrong places.

True Characters
Because this series has to do with time travel, and almost all of it occurs from 1957 - 2011, some real historical persons show up. I have made an effort to give most of them a positive spin, except for people like Timothy McVeigh. None of the dialog is real; it is all made up by me. I hope I have done these people justice.

Bit Parts, References and Uncast Characters
There are plenty of names that are mentioned in quick passing. Rather than wracking my brains to figure out the look of these characters, I am instead just going to list them here, with their origination stories. Perhaps that's overkill, but I like to be thorough. Of course, if any of these characters graduates to supporting or even lead status (Susan Cheshire became a supporting character, for example), then they'll be moved.
